Coming home doesn't mean the battle is over. With over 10 times the amount of veterans lost to suicide than to combat operations in the same time period, there has never been a more important time to TAKE A STAND and DO something to support our veterans!! If you or someone you know is suffering from PTSD, we have people that have shared a similar experience and are ready to help.

Good Afternoon all,


    After everything I have been involved with over the years, it’s really cool to finally have a little free time to get involved again with some local organizations. VFW post 3713 has been a part of my life for a long time. Hopefully it will be around for a long time to come. We are doing a rebuild year this year, and we need your help. We would like to know how we can get involved in the community, and how we can get the word out that the community is welcome to events at the post. I am open to ideas and suggestions from anyone, weather members or not. If you have some time, please come out to the planning meetings and help us get the ball rolling again. Taking care of Veterans and their families is what we do, but we also love getting involved in community events and programs as well. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

VFW Tailgate Party – Arrive Early!
When to arrive: Parking opens 4 hours before kickoff (~10:05 AM), tailgating at Sportsman’s Park (Great Lawn) begins then.
